Hello there! Thank you for visiting this section of my website! My name is Erika Tressler and I am a 16 year old poet and amateur photographer! I also have a novel that is taking ages to write! I have been writing for five years and I only started getting super invested in photography recently.
I started writing poetry because I was struggling with my mental health. I was trapped in an abusive household for many years and unfortunately resorted to self harm. Then I discovered the poetry community through the app Wattpad. That was my outlet for all of my bottled up emotions. It has been ever since.
I highly recommend poetry or writing in any form as a coping mechanism. It is easier than talking it out and holds more privacy. And even though I am just the website owner, my email and DMs are always open for people who need someone to talk to. I know what it is like to feel like you are always alone. That nobody cares. I care, so I listen.
I started this website because I am very proud of my poetry and growing photography skills. I want them to be displayed in a professional setting. They will still be posted on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter though, so follow those too! This site will mostly feature my poetry, if you have not picked that up already. Another reason is, I really wanted to start a newsletter or magazine type thing. Make sure you check out the newsletter page! Thank you again for visiting my site!

I see that you’re interested in my literary newsletter! ETC Monthly Literary Letter is a PowerPoint featuring poetry, short stories, non-fiction articles, write-ups, and other literary works. BUT. It doesn’t stop there! I also feature artwork, photography, and other forms of art! The rules are simple!
