A small, blue birdy
Whispered to my ear
With his voice a little chirpy
He said something exciting to hear
The skies are not grey,
They're a bright, lovely blue!
So, Happy Great Birthday!
Its time to celebrate you!
Time to celebrate your kindness
And your neverending love
And your insightful guidance
And elegance unheard of
And your welcoming personality,
Your kind and loving heart
And your sweet hospitality,
From the rest you're set apart.
Kindness and humility
Are so rarely shown
But you have the great ability
To portray it, on your own.
